An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse to take up a permanent part-time Hospital Coordinator position within the team at a private hospital in Perth.
The position is responsible for providing the after-hours management of the hospital by coordinating patient admissions, human and material resources and providing clinical support as indicated.  The ideal applicant must demonstrate an advanced level of clinical skills to support nursing staff to identify, assess and manage clinical risk to ensure excellence in standards of care and outcome delivery.  The position also requires strong leadership skills with the ability to act as the hospital’s emergency controller and to take a leading role during emergencies.  This position supports and reinforces the management principles established by Department Heads/ Nurse Unit Managers in the operation of individual units within the hospital, including commitment to continuous quality improvement. 
As the successful applicant, you will possess the following attributes:
  • Registration with AHPRA;
  • Registered Nurse with at least 5 years experience;
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and improving performance;
  • Role model for safe and quality practice;
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills;
  • Problem solving, analytical and time management skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a diverse team.
