Exciting opportunities exist for highly motivated Registered Nurses with strong cardiac knowledge and experience to join a dedicated team in preparation for the new refurbished Coronary Care & Cardio-thoracic Department at a private hospital in Sydney. Full time and part time positions are available.
THE CANDIDATE 
Essential Criteria:
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years' experience and knowledge in Cardiology along with Acute Cardiology and Cardiac Interventional knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High standard of customer service and a team approach
  • Intermediate computer skills

THE FACILITY
Hospital is located in Sydney's South and is a fully accredited 239 bed advanced surgical and acute medical facility. Working in partnership with some of Australia's leading medical specialists, the hospital has developed a strong reputation in Cardiac, Orthopaedics & Spinal Care, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Cancer Care, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Colorectal and Urology.

Coronary Care Unit is supported and accompanied by Cardio-thoracic Unit.  The patients include admissions post interventional angiography, pacemaker / ICD insertion and electrophysiology studies/ablations. The unit also manages acute cardiac medical admissions such as Myocardial Infarction, Acute Pulmonary Oedema, Unstable Angina Pectoris and arrhythmia management.
