A fantastic opportunity is available for a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Nurse/Manager seeking a new challenge. The role involves leading and inspiring a dynamic team as the Associate Director of Nursing at a private hospital in Darwin.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, leadership and strategic direction will be provided to align with the operational goals, budgetary requirements, and overall business objectives of the unit. Close collaboration with VMOs and nursing staff will be required to ensure the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS
- Registered with AHPRA;
- Excellent communication skills;
- A strong customer focus;
- Financial and human resource management skills;
- Strong motivation and ability to manage change;
- Able to influence nursing and hospital practice to achieve excellent clinical outcomes;
- Participate in WH&S and quality activities;
- Post Graduate study in Management or Business is desirable.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Darwin, is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory. It is a licensed 150-bed hospital providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery, including, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Urology, Gastroenterology and ENT and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.
