A unique opportunity exists for a Registered Anaesthetics & PACU Nurse looking to develop their leadership and management skills at a private hospital in Melbourne.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will report to the Perioperative Services Manager and assist in the day-to-day movements within the PACU & Anaesthetics teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- Minimum 3 years PACU experience;
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications required;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent understanding of infection control principles;
- Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team.

REMUNERATION
$53.22 - $54.98 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, located in Melbourne, is an acute 72-bed Surgical and Medical facility in Hampton's bayside suburb. The facility has 3 Operating Theatres, 2 Procedure Rooms, a Day Surgery unit, and a 4 bed High Dependency unit. It also offers on-site Radiology and Pathology services, Physiotherapy services, and busy specialist consulting suites. A comprehensive range of services is provided, including Breast Surgery, ENT, Gastrointestinal Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, and Vascular Surgery.
