An excellent career opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse looking to progress into a senior position at a private hospital on the Mornington Peninsula. The successful candidate will assist the Perioperative Services Manager with the mentorship and management of the Anaesthetic and PACU areas. Permanent full-time or part-time hours are negotiable for the right candidate.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will report to and assist the Nurse Unit Manager in the day-to-day running of the ward, liaising between physicians and patients to ensure an excellent standard of care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- At least 3 years of nursing experience in an Anaesthetics or PACU setting;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required;
- Previous leadership or management experience will be highly regarded.

REMUNERATION
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $53.22 - $ 54.98 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located on the Mornington Peninsula, is a 205-bed facility equipped with 4 operating theatres, a high-dependency, and a short-stay unit. The 48-bed Mental Health Ward coordinates adult inpatient and day programs for people suffering from various mental health concerns.
