A unique opportunity has opened for an experienced Endoscopy nurse to step into the role of Clinical Coordinator at a private hospital in Sydney.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating logistics to ensure the availability of equipment, prosthetics, instruments, and staff for specialised procedures;
- Overseeing the delivery of safe, high-quality care aligned with best practice standards;
- Taking an active, hands-on role in patient care;
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff members;
- Practicing in accordance with evidence-based care and modern clinical practices;
- Assisting with the orientation of new staff and ensuring continuous improvement of resources and processes;
- Developing and implementing new systems and practices as required;
- Collaborating closely with surgeons and anesthetists to ensure high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and fostering strong professional relationships.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As an experienced Endoscopy Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, you will bring the following skills and attributes:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Nurse;
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification;
- At least 3 years of Endoscopy experience;
- Recent experience in complex Endoscopy procedures, including ERCP, EBUS, and EUS;
- Strong knowledge of legislative requirements, ACORN standards, and GENCA guidelines;
- Active GENCA membership;
- Post-graduate qualification or a commitment to obtaining one;
- Thorough understanding of infection prevention and control principles (e.g., HICMR);
- Excellent clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- High level of computer literacy, including experience with Endobase systems.

REMUNERATION
A salary of $62.46 per hour.
