There is a new opening for an experienced Registered Midwife to join a dynamic team in a flexible and friendly work environment at a private hospital on the Gold Coast. It is a permanent part-time opportunity (16 hours per fortnight).

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Clinical Educator position is a hands-on role that will help provide education support to clinical staff and care for patients by being involved in department orientation, in-servicing, clinical competency program within the department as well as excellent clinical care to patients.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a midwifery setting;
  • Experience in the coordination and delivery of education;
  • An understanding of the theories and principles of adult learning;
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to engage and motivate staff within a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and legislative requirements;
  • Holds a current Certificate IV TAE40116 or Assessors Skills Set;
  • Sound computer skills (MS Word).

The facility is a 354-bed hospital providing a wide range of health care services with a 24-hour Emergency Department, Comprehensive Cardiac Services and Orthopaedic Surgery, Oncology, Medical Services, Maternity and Paediatrics, Renal Dialysis, Day Surgery, and Rehabilitation Services.
