Clinical Nurse – Rehabilitation | Brisbane

• Delivering quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care in collaboration with individuals, patients, their families,s and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes;
• Taking a leadership role in coordinating nursing care, providing hands-on nursing care, supervising, delivering clinical education, directing and supporting Registered Nurses (RN), Enrolled Nurses (EN), and Assistants in Nursing (AIN);
• Developing and utilising strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective and respectful communication;
• Working in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding the provision of care, promoting beneficial relationships and evidence-based health outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• Current right to work in Australia;
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in medical/rehab;
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care and education to patients;
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
• Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development;
• Experience providing leadership and education to the nursing team;
• Demonstrate professional development and be a portfolio holder;
• Understanding of the Australian National Commission on Quality and Safety National Standards;
• The ability to show initiative and work within a team environment;
• FIM Qualification Desirable.
