An excellent role is available for a highly organised and dynamic Clinical Nurse Specialist with experience in Neurosurgery to join the Operating Theatre team at a private hospital in Sydney. This is a Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time opportunity.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a key member of the Operating Theatre team, you will serve as a clinical and professional resource, bringing extensive knowledge and expertise to patient care while demonstrating exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
In addition, you will play an active role in staff education by participating in department orientation, in-service training, and clinical competency programs. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, your contributions will be instrumental in driving the hospital's continuous improvement initiatives.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful applicant will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- At least 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with experience in Theatre;
- Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required;
- Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients;
- Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practice;
- Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement processes;
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

REMUNERATION
$53.56 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
