ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Clinical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the excellent standard of evidence-based, person-centered care;
- Demonstrating professional practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics, and legislative requirements;
- Fostering a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining their own professional learning and continuous professional; development, and providing supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates, and students.
- Acting as a valued member of the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices;
- Collaborating with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuum;
- Maintaining professional and constructive working relationships with the VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high-quality patient outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- At least 2 years of Emergency Registered Nurse experience;
- Working with Children check (if relevant);
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
- Demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care nursing;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital is a comprehensive acute private hospital integrating clinical practice with teaching and research to provide patient-centered and personalized care. The Hospital includes 147 beds across 5 Wards providing Medical, Surgical, and Rehabilitation Services, a combined Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit, an Emergency Department, 7 Operating Suites, a Catheter Laboratory, Day of Surgery Admission, and Day Infusion/Oncology Services.
