ABOUT THE ROLE
As a NUM, you will be responsible for efficiently managing staff and resources within the unit, ensuring excellence in care delivery in line with policies and procedures, best practices and legislative requirements.
You will be mentoring and leading the passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff in CCU and working alongside a supportive executive team.
This is a perfect opportunity for a senior nurse to step into a management role and build clinical leadership skillset.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 4 years of working experience within a Cardiac Cath Lab is essential;
- Previous clinical leadership experience is highly desirable;
- Postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable;
- Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills;
- Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to nursing practice in the workplace;
- Effective organisation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

The cardiac services offer access to the latest technologies in cardiovascular diagnostic services, an interventional cardiology service, an Intensive Care Unit, a specialised Acute Cardiac Unit with on-site medical staff and full-time cardiologists, a Cardiology/Cardiothoracic ward, Cardiac Cath Lab, Post-procedural rehabilitation, 12 lead ECG, stress echo, exercise echocardiography, Remote home heart monitoring.
