An excellent opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced clinical manager to join the leadership team at a private hospital in Sydney. It's a permanent full-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the NUM, you will be taking on the management of the Cath Lab which is located on 2 sites at the private and public hospitals. The Cath Lab performs cardiac lists plus interventional radiology and pain lists. You will be supported by a passionate team of clinical staff.  

You will be responsible for providing efficient and effective services whilst ensuring a harmonious working relationship with both nursing and medical teams to provide high-quality care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Current AHPRA registration;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cath Lab/cardiology nursing;
  • Effective communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills;
  • Previous experience in a management position;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of labour hours management, stock management, HR matters and complaints;
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders;
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement/risk management program;
  • Holding or working towards a tertiary management qualification desirable;
  • Postgraduate studies in an appropriate specialty area desirable;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication skills.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
Hospital, located in Sydney, is an acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and obstetric services. The cardiovascular services department comprises cardiac catheter laboratories, a cardiothoracic operating suite, an intensive care unit and a cardiothoracic ward inclusive of coronary care and acute care units.
