A new opportunity exists for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with leadership skills to join the 30-bed General Medical Ward at a private hospital on the Mornington Peninsula. A permanent full-time role is available.

As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will take on a key leadership role within the General Medical Ward. You will be mentoring and leading a passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff alongside a supportive leadership team. 

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA;
  • Minimum 5 years of postgraduate experience ;
  • Previous experience in a General Medical ward setting;
  • Post-graduate studies in management qualifications will be highly regarded;
  • Experience in management is desirable;

The hospital, located on the Mornington Peninsula, is a comprehensive 344-bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac, and obstetric facility. The hospital currently accommodates a 14-bay emergency department, 226 medical and surgical, 36 cardiac, 11 ICU, 7 Neonatal, 14 Obstetric, and 30 Oncology beds, including 15-day infusion chairs.
