Take on an exciting leadership role in clinical management at a private hospital in regional NSW, overseeing a dynamic 47-bed General Medical and Surgical unit on a full-time basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a key member of the leadership team, you will report directly to the Director of Clinical Services, playing a pivotal role in supporting and guiding nursing staff to deliver exceptional care in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.
Your responsibilities will include supervising, leading, and motivating the nursing team to achieve high-quality outcomes. You will also be tasked with managing both financial and human resources, ensuring efficient roster processes, and allocating duties to optimize staff performance.
Additionally, you will take a proactive approach to increasing patient occupancy while fostering a positive, safe, and educational environment focused on continual improvement in patient care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in an acute hospital setting;
- Post-graduate qualifications an advantage;
- Previous experience in a management or senior leadership position;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.

REMUNERATION
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $64.56 - $69.45 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
Hospital, located in Bowral, is an acute medical/surgical facility providing an extensive range of onsite medical, surgical, rehabilitation, oncology and palliative care services for the community of the Southern Highlands and beyond to the regional and rural areas. It has 4 Operating Theatres, a Procedure Room, a Day Surgery Unit, a High Dependency Unit and a Day Oncology Unit.
