ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Intensive Care Services Manager, you will orchestrate and elevate the intensive care unit to unparalleled heights. Your leadership will ensure seamless operations, foster a culture of innovation, and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to collaborate with top-tier medical professionals and drive transformative change in critical care management. With the support of the General Manager, Director of Nursing and Finance Manager, you have the opportunity to lead, grow and empower the provision of Intensive Care Services
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Proven experience in ICU management or a related healthcare leadership role;
- Strong clinical expertise coupled with a strategic mindset;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- A record of accomplishment of driving operational excellence and achieving measurable results;
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills;
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care/ Intensive Care;
- Postgraduate qualification in Leadership and Management.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Canberra, is an acute facility with 8 operating theatres, an Angiography Suite, a 2-bed Critical Care Unit, Medical Rehab, and a Day Chemotherapy/Infusion unit. The extensive range of acute and medical healthcare include orthopaedics, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, urology and geriatric medicine.
