An exciting opportunity is now available for a highly experienced Registered Nurse to join the leadership team as Nurse Unit Manager in the Interventional Procedure Centre at a private hospital in Sydney. This permanent full-time position offers the chance to lead a dynamic clinical environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is integral to leading and supporting staff to deliver high-quality patient care in line with best practice standards and legislative requirements. The Interventional Procedure Centre includes two cardiac catheter laboratories, one pain management and radiology catheter laboratory, and eight recovery beds.

As Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee the efficient management of the department, foster a collaborative team culture, and ensure effective coordination with key stakeholders. Working closely with the Cardiac Services Manager, you will provide senior nursing leadership and contribute to the achievement of strategic and organisational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience in cardiac nursing, with demonstrated leadership capabilities;
  • Postgraduate qualifications in nursing management or a related clinical speciality (or working towards);
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team in a complex healthcare environment;
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk management and quality improvement process;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
