A fantastic chance has arisen for a deeply motivated and seasoned clinician to become a part of the Rehabilitation Unit management team at a private hospital in Brisbane. This position offers a permanent, full-time commitment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the successful candidate will supervise, lead, direct and motivate staff to achieve outcomes with the ability to manage financial and human resources.
This key leadership role will see you:
- Applying advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing, and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards;
- Effectively managing roster processes and allocating duties to clinical staff to ensure optimal coverage and patient care;
- Working with and supporting other managers within the wider hospital community in achieving excellence in patient outcomes through collaboration and shared goals;
- Assisting in shaping organisational strategy, improving procedural service provision, and achieving departmental and Hospital strategic objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA;
- At least 8 years of post-graduate experience;
- Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager;
- Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded;
- Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering, and performance management;
- Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human, and capital resources;

REMUNERATION
A base hourly rate ranging from $65.84 - $71.24 + superannuation based on relevant experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, located in north Brisbane, is an acute facility providing a wide range of health services. The unit's key surgical specialities include Colorectal, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Breast and Endocrine, General Surgery, and Bariatric Surgery.
