A fantastic opportunity is available for a motivated and experienced Perioperative Nurse Manager to become part of the leadership team at a private hospital in Shepparton. This is a key leadership position offered as a full-time, 12-month role.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful applicant will work closely with the Executive Team to shape organisational strategy, enhance procedural service provision and achieve departmental and hospital strategic objectives.
 
As the Perioperative Services Manager, you will lead the perioperative nursing, sterilisation, and technician teams. You will possess exceptional clinical and strategic acumen and be responsible for the operational management of our operating suite department.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Nurse in Perioperative Services;
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership or management experience;
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a continuous improvement program;
  • Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications and/or management qualifications;  
  • Ability to build rapport with VMOs and staff;
  • Commitment to improvement and excellence in the delivery of outcomes;
  • WHS responsibility and leadership in risk minimisation;
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage resources and experience in implementing sustainable change.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in beautiful Goulburn Valley,  is an acute surgical and medical facility, providing an extensive range of inpatient and day-patient services, all located on-site. The hospital has 3 fully equipped Operating Theatres, a High Dependency Unit and a Day Procedure Unit. The hospital is equipped with advanced medical, surgical and diagnostic technology.
