Registered Nurse – Anaesthetic | Melbourne

New possibilities await talented and accomplished Anaesthetic Registered Nurses to join a team at the facility located in Melbourne that is currently undergoing a significant renovation and expansion and is scheduled to open in February 2024. Permanent full-time roles are available with career pathway development.

• Undertaking nursing care in accordance with legislation;
• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members, Enrolled Nurses (ENs), and (AINs) to deliver patient care;
• Proactively assessing the perioperative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual/patient;
• Completing all required documentation in accordance with local and National Policies.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Current Registration with AHPRA;
• At least 2 years of graduate experience in Anaesthetics;
• Bachelor of Science (nursing) or equivalent;
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
• Relevant post-graduate qualification (or working towards);
• Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and customer service skills;
• Works well independently and within a team;
• Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards.
