Opportunities have arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic Anaesthetic Registered Nurses to join the team at a private hospital in regional NSW. Permanent full-time/part-time or short-term travel nurse contract roles are available.
Candidates that require sponsorship will be considered - a TSS visa and ready to start within the next 4 months.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia;
- Responding to unexpected outcomes and using problem-solving skills to respond to emergencies in the Perioperative department;
- Compliance with all legislative requirements in the workplace including occupational safety and health acts and workers’ compensation.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA;
- Demonstrated strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with at least 2 years experience working as an Anaesthetic Nurse;
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Positive “can-do” attitude and ability to work under pressure;
- Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster and capacity to participate in an on-call roster is critical for this role.

REMUNERATION
$34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, located in the Tamworth region, is a Medical & Surgical Hospital with a large Day Surgery Unit adjacent to the 3 operating theatres, a large procedure room, and a High Dependency Unit. The hospital specialises in orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, ophthalmology, gynaecology and rehabilitation.
