New opportunities have arisen for suitably qualified and experienced Angiography Registered Nurses to join the Angiography (Cath Lab) Suites at a private hospital in Perth. Full-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As the Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care to provide exceptional care to every patient;
- Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team consisting of cardiac and vascular surgeons, nurses, technicians, and radiographers to deliver exceptional patient care;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery post-intervention;
- Using industry-leading computer software and adapting to technological changes in both equipment and products.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Working with Children check;
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care and demonstrated ability to adhere to the ACQSHC National standards.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work well independently and within a team;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Attainment of qualification and/or competency in Electrophysiology (or progression towards same);
- Experience in TAVI/Structural Heart coordination and/or certification in valve loading/crimping.

FACILITY DETAILS
Situated in Perth, the hospital offers an extensive array of services across various adult medical specialties. Notably, the Angiography suite operates as a highly active unit, performing more than 4,120 coronary and vascular procedures each year, and its services continue to expand. The Cath Labs within this suite offer a wide range of specialized services, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology with 3D mapping ablations, FFR and IVUS procedures, cardiac implantable devices, vascular interventions, and complex cases involving structural heart issues such as PFOs, LAAOs, TAVI, and Mitral Valve prosthetic implantations. The hospital benefits from a dedicated and experienced team of nursing staff and radiographers who consistently provide top-quality care and service.
Additionally, the hospital now boasts three brand-new, state-of-the-art Angiography suites located adjacent to a 41-bed coronary care unit. In conjunction with these three labs, there is also a Hybrid suite within the theatre complex, conveniently connected to the 10-bed Level 3 Intensive Care Unit.
