ABOUT THE ROLE
As a part of the Cardiac Catheter Lab, you will assess, plan, and coordinate the care delivery needs of the patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse, and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to the patients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- At least 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience, or, Anaesthetic nurses, Vascular theatre nurses are also welcome to apply;
- Interventional Cardiology procedural skills such as PCI and Structural Heart procedures;
- Proven Cardiac Rhythm Management procedural and recovery skillsInvasive monitoring including recognition of arterial and right heart pressures/waveforms, and Balloon Pump management;
- Experience with sheath management pre/peri/post removal.Experience in Cardiac nursing and/or Critical care, Advanced Life Support desirable.

REMUNERATION
$36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The Hospital, located in Sydney's inner west, is an acute care facility and one of Australia's most technologically advanced hospitals, providing excellent safety, comfort, and quality of care. The facilities encompass 84 beds, 7 operating theatres, 1 endoscopy suite, 1 cardiac catheterization lab, a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit, and a Day Surgery Unit.
