An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Registered Nurse keen to become part of the Cardiology Department at a private hospital in Canberra. This position offers a permanent full-time role.

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety;
  • Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
  • Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.


  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards;
  • Ability to manage risk;
  • Sound knowledge of Registered Nursing standards;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills.


The Canberra-based facility provides a range of services encompassing trauma care, major medical and surgical treatments, acute and sub-acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient services, as well as general and specialized healthcare for individuals of all ages.
