An exhilarating opportunity awaits for a dynamic and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join the ICU Team at a private hospital in Sydney. This is a permanent Part-Time position with a rotating roster.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role within a supportive team in ensuring high patient care levels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- At least 3 years of experience in an ICU, Coronary Care, or Cardiology environment;
- Current Authority to Work in Australia;
- Valid NSW Working with Children check;
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or working towards);
- Advanced Life Support Certificate (or working towards);
- Knowledge in water-sealed drains, haemodynamic monitoring, and inotrope support an advantage;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer-focused.

REMUNERATION
$35.46 - $49.79 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Western Sydney, is a modern 109-bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography, obstetrics. The hospital has eight operating Theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre, and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit that includes intensive care.
