An excellent opportunity exists for experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the surgical team at a private hospital in Campbelltown. It's a permanent full-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will work on the flexible rotational roster supporting 2 surgical wards. You will play a key role within a caring and supportive team in ensuring high levels of pre, and post-operative care.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care;
- Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care ;
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice;
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients to manage their health recovery.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant registration with the AHPRA;
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
- Demonstrated Surgical nursing experience;
- Compliance with ACQSHC national standards;
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer-focused;
- Authority to Work in Australia.

Hospital is a purpose-built private hospital located in Campbelltown. The modern facilities include 8 Operating Theatres, 52 Surgical beds, Day Surgery Unit and a Rehabilitation Unit. The hospital offers excellent employee conditions with extensive support from the Management team. The specialties include Orthopaedics, Bariatric, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, Urology, and General, including laparoscopic work, Colorectal, Dental, Pain Management, Gynaecology and Gastroenterology.
