Excellent opportunities exist for dynamic and experienced Registered Nurses to join a busy High Dependency Unit at a private hospital on the Mornington Peninsula. Permanent full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, this role will see you providing comprehensive care to patients in the 6-bed HDU. You will work alongside a dedicated and supportive team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
- Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- At least 2 years in an acute hospital setting;
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and autonomously when required;
- A strong clinical skill set and hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service;
- Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster.

REMUNERATION
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.39 - $ 47.55 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, located on the Mornington Peninsula, is a 205-bed facility equipped with 4 operating theatres, a high-dependency, and a short-stay unit.
