Experienced Emergency Registered Nurses now have the chance to become integral members of the bustling emergency department team at a private hospital in Melbourne. Permanent Part-Time roles are currently open.

POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Emergency Department nurse, you will play a key role in working within a high-performing team, ensuring exceptional patient care.

Your responsibilities will include: 
  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety;
  • Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
  • Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • Experience in ED/Critical Care/ICU is highly desirable;
  • At least 2 years of acute hospital working experience;
  • Working with Children check;
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
  • Compliance with ACSQHC National standards;
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team.

REMUNERATION

Salaries range between $35.33 and $47.25 per hour.

Offering comprehensive services to its community, the hospital features 186 registered beds, a well-equipped emergency department, 5 advanced operating theatres, a 12-bed Critical Care Complex, and a thriving day surgery/endoscopy unit. The hospital's specialisation includes orthopaedics, general surgery, general medicine, oncology, cardiology, urology, plastic surgery, ENT, and gynaecology.
