Fantastic chances are open for skilled Registered Nurses to become part of the Oncology and Medical Unit in a private hospital located in Melbourne. There are part-time positions up for grabs.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide care to patients with a wide variety of medical presentations. You will directly plan, review, and implement patient care alongside a diverse team of clinical professionals. You will report directly to the Nurse Unit Manager.

The successful candidates will be experienced nurses or those with an enthusiastic approach and desire to learn. ADAC training and support available.

  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • At least 2 years of experience in Acute Nursing and Oncology is essential for this role;
  • Any postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded, though not essential.
  • Recent experience in oncology/medical unit desirable, though not essential. All training will be provided
  • ADAC certificate desirable though not essential;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.

The hospital, located in Melbourne, is an acute Medical/Surgical facility. It is proud to offer its staff and patients world-class care in a contemporary environment that currently provides 215 beds, 11 state-of-the-art operating theatres, and an Intensive Care Unit. It is undergoing a $180m significant development which will see the hospital almost double in size, including additional beds, operating theatres, a new expanded ICU, and an Emergency Department in addition to new Support Services.
