Exciting opportunities have become available for highly motivated Scrub Scout Registered Nurses with previous experience in orthopedics and vascular to join the team at the private hospital in regional NSW. There are permanent full-time and part-time roles available.

ABOUT THE ROLE
 Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care;
  • Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
  • Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
  • Leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes;
  • Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
  • Acting as a role model for Safe Practice;

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience;
  • Exceptional communication skills;
  • Strong clinical skillset;
  • Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of the patient;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team;

REMUNERATION

$34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. 

ABOUT THE FACILITY 
Hospital, located in Coffs Harbour, is a 78-bed licensed hospital, providing advanced surgery, interventional coronary angiography including the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, orthopaedics, endovascular & general surgery, general medical, rehabilitation, palliative care, and mental health. The theatre complex offers state-of-the-art operating facilities, along with a day surgery unit onsite. The facility has a day medical unit that caters to patients requiring chemotherapy and day intravenous therapy.
