Exciting opportunities exist for dynamic and highly motivated Scrub Scout Registered Nurses with experience in the ENT specialty to join the Perioperative Team at a private hospital in Sydney. Multiple Permanent Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role within a supportive team in ensuring high patient care levels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice;
REQUIREMENTS
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA;
- At least 3 years of experience in Scrub Scout / Perioperative Nursing, ENT specialty preferred;
- Authority to Work in Australia;
- Working with Children check;
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer focused;
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards Perioperative Nursing (desirable);

REMUNERATION
$35.46 - $49.79 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Western Sydney, is a modern 109-bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography, obstetrics. The hospital has eight operating Theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre, and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit that includes intensive care.
