An excellent opportunity exists for a passionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join a friendly nursing team at a private hospital in Sydney. This is a Permanent Part Time Night Shift opportunity (3 shifts per week).
THE POSITION
As a Surgical Regisgtered Nurse, you will be working across a range of specialties including Bariatric, Upper GI, Breast, Colorectal surgery and Orthopaedics. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each patient’s individual needs. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered.
THE CANDIDATE
Selection Criteria:
- Current registration with the AHPRA;
- Prior experience in a day surgery setting;
- Prior experience working in any of the following specialties: Bariatric, Upper GI, Breast, Colorectal surgery and Orthopaedics;
- Availability across a 7-day roster;
- Ability to a night duty roster.

A comprehensive range of acute surgical services is delivered, including general surgery, urology, colorectal, orthopaedics, plastics, thoracic, gynaecology, bariatric, ENT, cardiac and vascular surgery. Services are supported by a six-bed Intensive Care Unit.
