Excellent opportunities exist for Registered Nurses with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to join the Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Team at a private hospital in Melbourne. Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse - Orthopaedic/ Neurosurgical, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Delivering safe, research-based standards of nursing care;
- Providing complex and multi-disciplinary care;
- Working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice;
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an acute hospital setting, ideally in a surgical ward;
- Orthopaedic and neurosurgical nursing is highly regarded;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Commitment to quality patient care;
- Works independently and within a team;
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
- Exceptional computer skills.
REMUNERATION
Salary ranges between $35.33 - $47.25 per hour.

The hospital, located in Melbourne, is a fully accredited tertiary facility that provides Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, a 20-bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services, including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories. A 24/7 Emergency Department that covers a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries. Backed by the latest technology and expertise, 15 theatres are offered, including a hybrid theatre, diagnostic cardiology, two cardiac cath labs, and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, and more.
