There is a new opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse to contribute to the newly launched Recovery Support Program at a private hospital in Perth. This is a permanent full-time, Monday to Friday position with no shift work required.

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will support patients to achieve their recovery goals by enhancing independence and promoting meaningful participation in education, employment, and community life. Working within a Recovery Support Program, you will provide outreach support, build confidence and life skills, and facilitate smooth transitions back into the community following discharge from an inpatient mental health unit. You will utilise advanced clinical expertise and leadership to deliver high-quality, person-centred mental health care and support positive recovery outcomes.
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mental Health Registered Nurse;
  • Postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing are highly regarded (or currently progressing toward completion);
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities;
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional, recovery-focused, individualised care.

The hospital, located in Perth, is a busy modern 900-bed hospital offering a wide range of disciplines, including cardiology, gastroenterology, general medicine, general surgery, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, palliative care, psychiatry, rehabilitation, and urology.
