A fantastic opportunity awaits an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join a close-knit, friendly and hardworking Cath Lab Team at a private hospital in Canberra on a full-time basis.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Collaborating with the Cath Lab team on coronary angiograms, pacemakers, angioplasty, EPS, ablations and other cardiac devices;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- 3+ years in Cath Lab as a Registered Nurse;
- Post Graduate Qualifications in Cardiac Care;
- Flexibility to work across a range of shifts;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer-focused.

REMUNERATION
If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience, ranging between $38.72 - $52.32 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Canberra, is an acute facility with 8 operating theatres, an Angiography Suite, a 2-bed Critical Care Unit, Medical Rehab, and a Day Chemotherapy/Infusion unit. The extensive range of acute and medical healthcare include orthopaedics, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, urology and geriatric medicine.
