Opportunities have arisen for experienced Registered Nurses to join the Operating Theatres Team at a private hospital in Regional NSW on a permanent full-time basis.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum two (2) years of postgraduate experience;
- Previous experience working across operating theatres;
- Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of patients;
- Exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required;
- Ability to work a flexible rotating roster.

REMUNERATION
On offer is base hourly rate of $38.88 - $54.61 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in the Tamworth region, is a Medical & Surgical Hospital with a large Day Surgery Unit adjacent to the 3 operating theatres, a large procedure room, and a High Dependency Unit. The hospital specialises in orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, ophthalmology, gynaecology and rehabilitation.
