A new opportunity has arisen for experienced and passionate Registered Nurses to join the Perioperative Department within the Recovery and Anaesthetics Team at a private hospital in Adelaide. There are casual, part-time, and full-time positions available.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering nursing care that ensures the patient achieves outcomes consistent with best practice standards and hospital values;
- Demonstrating professional, ethical and respectful behaviour and teamwork at all times in accordance with our core values and code of conduct;
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse;
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the role;
- Sound knowledge of Perioperative Standards;
- South Australian DHS Working With Children clearance;
- Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures;
- Ability to manage risk;
- Current evidence of vaccinations as required for the role;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills;
- Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands.

REMUNERATION
Salaries range between $38.79 -$53.04 per hour.

The hospital has eight operating theatres and a procedure room, which are all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. With 55 dedicated cardiology and cardiothoracic beds, complemented by a 6-bed acute chest pain unit, the facility is well-positioned to provide outstanding care.
