An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse who thrives on mentoring and inspiring others to join the Education team as a Clinical Nurse Facilitator at a leading private hospital in Brisbane.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a unique opportunity to use your clinical expertise to provide hands-on training and guidance to a diverse group of learners, from students embarking on their nursing journey to new graduates and established nurses seeking further support.
As a Clinical Facilitator, your responsibilities will include:
- Empowering and educating a wide range of nursing staff, from undergraduates to experienced professionals, through formal and informal learning opportunities;
- Working in partnership with the Education Coordinator and Clinical Nurse Facilitators to facilitate student professional experience placements;
- Being a supportive guide for our newest team members, helping new graduates confidently transition from theory to real-world practice;
- Championing best practice by role-modelling exceptional, evidence-based, person-centred care every single day;
- Providing expert guidance and advocating for our nursing students, helping them to achieve their learning objectives and clinical competency;
- Cultivating a positive learning culture that encourages staff to grow, innovate, and provide the highest standard of care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 3 years' Registered Nursing experience in an acute environment (Medical/Surgical nursing is preferred);
- Committment to promoting high standards of clinical practice and a culture of continuous learning;
- Postgraduate studies in clinical education or preceptor course completion is desirable;
- Working with Children check;
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in the South East of Brisbane, is an acute facility that provides acute Medical, Day Oncology, Surgical, Maternity, Rehabilitation and Critical Care services. The day surgery unit is a day of surgery admission centre and a day surgery/endoscopy unit. 2 procedure rooms perform various procedures, including diagnostic and interventional Endoscopies, Colonoscopies and minor plastics and urological procedures.
