New opportunities have arisen for experienced Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join the Anaesthetics & Recovery (PACU) Unit at a private hospital in Perth. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures;
- Providing exceptional customer service and person-centred, evidence-based care;
- Providing supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses, graduates, and students;
- Working as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team while managing one's own time and personal wellbeing;
- Participating in clinical and compliance auditing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum of 2 years' full-time Anaesthetic and/or Recovery (PACU) experience or equivalent;
- Compliance with NSQHS National standards;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Postgraduate studies, i.e., Graduate Certificate in Anaesthetics or equivalent (desirable);
- Work well independently and within a team.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
Situated in Perth, the hospital offers an extensive array of services across various adult medical specialties. Notably, the Angiography suite operates as a highly active unit, performing more than 4,120 coronary and vascular procedures each year, and its services continue to expand. The Cath Labs within this suite offer a wide range of specialized services, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology with 3D mapping ablations, FFR and IVUS procedures, cardiac implantable devices, vascular interventions, and complex cases involving structural heart issues such as PFOs, LAAOs, TAVI, and Mitral Valve prosthetic implantations.
