Nurse Educator – Perioperative | Melbourne

As a Nurse Educator, your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying educational needs in partnership with Nursing Leaders (e.g., DON, NUM, CNS) and Clinical Support Functions (e.g., Quality, Infection Control);
• Leading and fostering a positive learning environment;
• Maintaining professional and constructive working relationships;
• Playing a key role within a supportive team to ensure high levels of patient care are delivered;
• Prioritising patient safety and quality frameworks.

• Current AHPRA Registration;
• Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification;
• Post Graduate Qualification in perioperative nursing or clinical education;
• Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE);
• Thorough knowledge of ACORN standards and current legislation;
• 5+ years clinical experience in perioperative nursing;
• Demonstrated experience in eLearning platforms;
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills;
• High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• WWCC;
• Current Police Check.
