New opportunities have arisen for experienced Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join a 28-bed mixed specialty acute Surgical Ward at a private hospital in Perth. There are both permanent full-time and part-time opportunities available.

ABOUT THE POSITION
As the Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and person-centred, evidence-based care;
  • Providing supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses, graduates, AINs/PSAs, and students;
  • Working as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team while managing one's own work time and personal wellbeing;
  • Participating in clinical and compliance auditing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • Previous experience working in an acute surgical/ medical environment or similar;
  • A willingness and availability to work across all shifts, including day, afternoon, and night duty shifts (and weekends);
  • A commitment to providing excellent patient-centred care;
  • An ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and model the hospital's values;
  • Experience in urology, colorectal, ENT, plastics, and/or neurosurgery (desirable).

FACILITY DETAILS
Situated in Perth, the hospital offers an extensive array of services across various adult medical specialties. Notably, the Angiography suite operates as a highly active unit, performing more than 4,120 coronary and vascular procedures each year, and its services continue to expand. The Cath Labs within this suite offer a wide range of specialized services, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology with 3D mapping ablations, FFR and IVUS procedures, cardiac implantable devices, vascular interventions, and complex cases involving structural heart issues such as PFOs, LAAOs, TAVI, and Mitral Valve prosthetic implantations. The hospital benefits from a dedicated and experienced team of nursing staff and radiographers who consistently provide top-quality care and service.
