Registered Nurse – Emergency Department | Melbourne

Exciting opportunities are available for Registered Nurses to join the Emergency Department at a private hospital in Melbourne on a full-time or part-time basis. Flexible rostering with staggered start times promotes genuine work-life balance, while an in-house transition to the Critical Care Program provides excellent professional development opportunities.

• Delivering safe, research-based standards of nursing care;
• Providing complex and multidisciplinary care;
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs;
• Acting as a role model for safe practice;
• Delivering education and support to individuals and patients in managing their health recovery.

• Current Registration with AHPRA;
• Minimum 2+ years working in Emergency Care;
• Working with Children check (if relevant);
• Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
• Demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care nursing;
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
• Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
• Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused;
• Clinical Nurse applicants must have advanced clinical skills and at least 5 years of nursing experience;
• Post-graduate qualifications required/preferred.

REMUNERATION

A salary ranges between $36.13 to $48.32 per hour, based on your years of relevant nursing experience.
