ABOUT THE ROLE
You will join a close and supportive team within a small Emergency Department comprising 12 beds and 1 resuscitation bay.
As a Registered Nurse - Emergency Department, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, research-based standards of nursing care;
- Providing complex and multidisciplinary care;
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for safe practice;
- Delivering education and support to individuals and patients in managing their health recovery.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 2+ years working in Emergency Care;
- Working with Children check (if relevant);
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
- Demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care nursing;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused;
- Clinical Nurse applicants must have advanced clinical skills and at least 5 years of nursing experience;
- Post-graduate qualifications required/preferred.
REMUNERATION
A salary ranges between $36.13 to $48.32 per hour, based on your years of relevant nursing experience.
