Exciting opportunities are available for skilled, motivated Registered Nurses with at least 3 years of acute clinical experience to join the Surgical Ward on a full-time or part-time basis at a private hospital in Melbourne. 

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work within the Ward that provides comprehensive surgical and post‑operative care with integrated telemetry monitoring, supporting patients with complex surgical (post-colorectal, bariatric, and intercostal drain patients) and medical needs. You will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team committed to delivering safe, high‑quality care.

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
  • Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
  • Acting as a role model for safe practice.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • 3+ years of acute nursing experience (surgical or acute clinical setting);
  • Strong clinical assessment and escalation skills;
  • Experience in telemetry monitoring(desirable) or willingness to learn and manage deteriorating patients;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous improvement.

The hospital, located in southeastern Melbourne, is a state-of-the-art 147-bed hospital, comprising a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9-bed specialized Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12-bay Day Infusion Unit, and 5 specialized inpatient units. - including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, and Rehabilitation Services.
