An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Perioperative team in a dedicated Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout role at a private hospital in regional NSW. This is a permanent full-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the ward. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each patient. You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum of 12 months' perioperative experience as a scrub/scout nurse, predominantly in orthopaedic surgery;
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team;
- Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergencies;
- Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situations;
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

REMUNERATION
A base hourly rate of $40.24 - $56.52 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances.

Hospital, located in Coffs Harbour, is a 78-bed licensed hospital, providing advanced surgery, interventional coronary angiography including the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, orthopaedics, endovascular & general surgery, general medical, rehabilitation, palliative care, and mental health. The theatre complex offers state-of-the-art operating facilities, along with a day surgery unit onsite. The facility has a day medical unit that caters to patients requiring chemotherapy and day intravenous therapy.
