There is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a growing paediatric allied health service supporting NDIS-funded children across South East Melbourne. This can be a permanent, contract, or part-time mobile role.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will provide therapy services to children in homes, schools, and early learning environments, working closely with families to deliver meaningful, family-centred care. You will be supported by experienced clinicians and have access to structured supervision and ongoing professional development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to paediatric clients, primarily aged 2-12;
- Supporting children with sensory regulation, fine motor development, daily living skills, emotional regulation, and play-based goals;
- Conducting assessments, developing therapy plans, and contributing to NDIS progress reporting;
- Working collaboratively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals;
- Maintaining clear and accessible clinical documentation;
- Participating in supervision, team discussions, and professional development activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility upon commencement;
- Recent graduate or up to two years of clinical experience;
- Comfort working with paediatric clients, particularly children with autism, developmental delay, sensory processing difficulties, and emotional regulation needs;
- Reliable car and full Victorian driver's licence (mobile role, non-negotiable);
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain before start);
- Working with Children Check;
- Working rights in Australia.
