ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring high patient care levels within a supportive team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, research-based standards of nursing care;
- Collaborating with the Cath Lab team on coronary angiograms, pacemakers, vascular procedures and more;
- Providing expert support to VMOs during Cath lab procedures;
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 2 years' clinical experience in Cath Lab;
- Working with Children Check;
- Bachelor of Nursing;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Being self-motivated and having a proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused;
- Post Graduate Certificate in Cardiac Care or working towards (desirable);
- Advanced Life Support Certificate (desirable).
