An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Midwife to work in the Birthing Suite at a private hospital in Sydney. There are full-time, part-time, and flexible employment options. Sponsorship may be considered for suitably qualified candidates who already hold current AHPRA registration as a Midwife.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working in the Birthing Suite offers the clinical exposure and variety of a busy maternity service while maintaining a strong focus on personalised care and positive birth experiences for women and families. In this role, you will work within an experienced team, build strong professional relationships, and continue to develop your clinical expertise in a busy, established Birthing Suite.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Recent Birthing Suite experience;
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills;
- A commitment to delivering exceptional care to women and families.

REMUNERATION
A base hourly rate of $40.24 - $56.52 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital is a 312-bed surgical, medical, and maternity facility located on Sydney's North Shore. It is an acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, and obstetric services. The newly renovated maternity unit consists of 40 beds and 7 birth suites. With a focus on personalized care, fully equipped with a Maternity Customer Service Officer, a hospital provides the full circle of maternity care - including the emotional well-being program, an antenatal interview with a midwife, and preparation for birth and specialized parenting programs. Post-delivery, one-on-one baby feeding and settling clinics are provided by experienced clinicians.
