Registered Nurses – Anaesthetics | Brisbane

Join a supportive Perioperative Team at a private hospital in Brisbane as an Anaesthetics Registered Nurse, working in a fast-paced theatre environment across orthopaedic, urology, general and day procedure lists. Permanent full-time, part-time and casual opportunities are available, with flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle. Lists are primarily scheduled on weekdays, with occasional weekend work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multidisciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• 3+ years' experience working in theatre in either Anaesthetics or Recovery;
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
• Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and customer service skills;
• Works well independently and within a team;
• Basic computer skills;
• Ability to work across a rotating roster.

ABOUT THE FACILITY 

Located in Brisbane, the hospital is a 65-bed acute and rehabilitation facility comprising six operating theatres, with a new High Dependency Unit scheduled to open. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of specialist services, including orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and internal medicine, alongside leading rehabilitation services and innovative patient-centred programs.
