Exciting opportunities have emerged for a passionate and experienced Registered Scrub Nurse to join a busy and fast-paced Theatre Team at a private hospital located in Orange. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Scrub and Circulating Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing safe perioperative care by preparing the operating theatre;
- Maintaining the sterile field;
- Assisting the surgical team, supporting patient safety, completing surgical counts and documenting care throughout the procedure.
REQUIREMENTS
As the successful candidate, you will possess:
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Minimum two (2) years Anaesthetics, Scrub Scout, Recovery or perioperative experience;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus;
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of patients;
- Exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others;
- Ability to work a rotating roster.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $40.24 - $56.52 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Orange, is a 62-bed facility that provides a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and psychiatric services. The hospital has 5 Operating Theatres. Apart from general medical and surgical beds, there are 17 licensed rehabilitation beds and a 13-bed mental health unit.
