Exciting opportunities are available for enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join West Ward, a busy medical/surgical ward at a private hospital in Sydney. The ward provides care across orthopaedic, gynae, bariatric, ENT, plastics, colorectal and paediatric post-operative specialties. Afternoon and night duty shifts available, with full-time, part-time and casual opportunities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Afternoon and night duty Registered Nurses play a vital role in supporting the hospital's after-hours operations, ensuring patients continue to receive safe, consistent and high-quality care during periods of increased demand and changing resource requirements. To succeed in this role, you will bring strong clinical skills and experience within a hospital environment, together with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Your commitment to patient-centred care and passion for delivering exceptional service will ensure a positive experience for every patient and their family.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum of 12 months' post-graduate experience working in an acute setting;
- Acute Surgical or Medical experience advantageous but not essential;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Western Sydney, is a modern 212-bed facility with 12 Operating Theatres and two Cardiac Cath labs. The hospital performs a full range of elective surgeries, including cardiac, neurosurgery, urology, orthopaedic, gynaecology, colorectal, general, plastics, obstetrics, Paediatric, ENT, and Spinal Surgery. The 16-bed ICU provides specialised care for patients who require constant monitoring, intensive nursing care and advanced respiratory, cardiac and renal support therapies.
