An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated Registered Nurses to join the opening team of a brand-new Emergency Department at a private hospital in Melbourne. This permanent part-time night duty role offers the opportunity to be part of a state-of-the-art Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit, delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a modern environment. Night duty shifts will be rostered between approximately 5-6PM and 1-2AM.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a member of a clinical team, you will plan, evaluate, and deliver care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and the Clinical Leadership Team. You will deliver exceptional emergency care to the community with compassion, clinical excellence, and innovation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA;
- Recent Emergency Department experience with competency in resus and triage roles is essential;
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Flexibility across 7-day rotating roster;
- Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth;
- A Post Graduate Degree in Critical Care is highly desirable, but not essential.

REMUNERATION
$41.34 - $52.80 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Melbourne, is an acute Medical/Surgical facility. It is proud to offer its staff and patients world-class care in a contemporary environment that currently provides 215 beds, 11 state-of-the-art operating theatres, and an Intensive Care Unit. It is undergoing a $180m significant development which will see the hospital almost double in size, including additional beds, operating theatres, a new expanded ICU, and an Emergency Department in addition to new Support Services.
Cardiac Ward is a 26-bedded ward with 8-bedded CCU facilities, managing a mix of medical and surgical patients.
